Central Energy Trust Arena in Palmerston North stands as New Zealand's busiest and most versatile events complex, originally established in 1886 and now hosting approximately 3,000 bookings annually across its impressive 18-hectare facility. 

The venue features a main stadium with 15,000 capacity (expandable to 20,000) and serves as home to 36 sporting codes including the Manawatu Turbos rugby team, hosting everything from Rugby World Cup matches to trade shows, exhibitions, and concerts just seven minutes from Palmerston North's CBD. 

Through our decade-long partnership with this premier venue, Alloyfold recently completed a product upgrade project supplying 4x Tip n Roll portable grandstands featuring unassembled, 3-tiered systems with 5 seats per tier in standard blue with dark blue bleacher pads. 

Central Energy Trust Arena chose these systems specifically for their durability to withstand the venue's intensive 3,000+ annual booking schedule, lightweight aluminium construction for easy handling by venue staff, and purpose-built tip and roll design that allows units to fit through standard doorways when transported, providing maximum flexibility for rapid reconfiguration between diverse events. 

The project presented timing challenges as half the order was available from stock while the other half required custom manufacturing, which our experienced team successfully coordinated to ensure seamless delivery without disrupting arena operations.
