In 2010 Alloyfold won the contract to provide public waiting and courtroom seating for the Tauranga District Court. In the courtroom and public gallery we installed the AF-517N waiting seating model, upholstered with Macquarie Nocturne fabric as required by the Ministry of Justice. The public area seating in the court's foyer is also the AF-517N model without upholstery and finished with a silver powder coated frame. In total Alloyfold provided 280 seats directly from our Christchurch warehouse for Tauranga. Our stock held in our Christchurch warehouse allowed us to complete the project within a very tight timeframe.
Alloyfold staff were involved in this project from the beginning. We arranged for the rooms to be measured and provided detailed seating plans for both the courtrooms and the public waiting areas. Our staff were on hand during all stages of the installation to ensure that it met our high quality standards, going the extra mile to complete the installation in the evenings and weekend to avoid any disruption to court proceedings.
