In 2010, an opportunity arose for Alloyfold to tender for the Longreach Airport seating upgrade. The tender was part of a major Airport refurbishment to be completed in 2012. After supplying detailed tender information including a quote to Longreach Regional Council, Alloyfold was chosen as the successful supplier of the Airport's public waiting seating.
The Airport chose the Schumann model and all 100 seated positions were supplied with padding and upholstery and a powder coated frame. The Council opted to have these delivered uninstalled and Alloyfold supplied a detailed seating installation manual and instructions to make the assembly and install as smooth as possible.
