LITE WEIGHT

RUST-FREE FOR LONG LIFE

ALLOYFOLD's frame and seat plate are made of Aluminum. Aluminum does not and can not rust. No rust eliminates the brown stains so often seen on painted steel chairs (especially around the rivet holes). It also reduces liability from potential breakages due to this corrosion. STACKS MORE STABLE

The Alloyfold II features a small crimp in the legs near the base so that in a stack the legs nest together. This means that the chairs "locate" or "nest" into each other not just with the plastic seat backs at the top, but also at the base of each chair. This ensures far greater stack stability.

STACKS MORE COMPACT

When the Alloyfold II or Alloyfold 4 are folded the chairs interlock and stack flat for low-volume storage. When stacked flat workers can carry 10 under each arm and move large volumes very efficiently.

LONG-LIFE FINISH

The anodized aluminum frame does not chip or scratch easily, so the frames do not require maintenance such as annual paint touch-ups to keep them looking pristine. The anodizing process is not a coating, it is a chemical alteration of the surface structure and is extremely hard wearing.

QUALITY PLASTICS

The plastics are 97% virgin polypropylene, which is strong and highly UV resistant. Some manufacturers use more "re-grind" and recycled blends that are brittle and less UV resistant.

STRONG SLEDGE LEG

The dual sledge leg design on the ALLOYFOLD II is a good option for outdoor use because it doesn't sink into the ground. Also, there are no rubber end caps to replace.
